Earlier this week we lost Cameroonian jazz legend Manu Dibango to illness connected to the COVID 19 virus. This was a man who was transformative on a number of levels. His impact in the world of jazz, Afrobeat, funk and Hip Hop is unparalleled. He was a major cornerstone. His music was a mainstay in early park jams.. The artists he influenced are vast.
